College Bio
Colossal offensive tackle joined the Chiefs as the first of the club’s two sixth-round selections (170th overall) in the 2008 NFL Draft … Was thrust into the starting lineup as a true freshman and went on to start 45 of 49 career contests at Clemson … Possesses a violent first strike at the point of contact … Large hands and long wingspan create difficulties for opposing rushers off the edge … Has the ability to learn both guard and tackle, but is expected to man the tackle position at the NFL level … Should benefit greatly from the guidance of both offensive line coach Bob Bicknell and assistant offensive line coach Joe D’Alessandris.
