Dominant and versatile offensive lineman was selected with the second of the Chiefs two selections of the first round (15th overall) in the 2008 NFL Draft … Spent the majority of his collegiate career at guard, but has the physical tools and athleticism to play tackle in the NFL … Despite not beginning his football career until his junior year of high school, quickly picked up the game … Spent one year at Hargrave Military Academy prior to enrolling at Virginia … Durable performer was inserted into the Cavaliers starting lineup upon his arrival as a freshman and went on to start every game in which he played … Started 37 games at Virginia … Entered the draft with a year of eligibility remaining.
