College Bio

Talented NCAA Division II cornerback joined the Chiefs as the club’s fifth-round selection (140th overall) in the 2008 NFL Draft … Was part of a Grand Valley State squad that compiled a 50-4 record and won a pair of NCAA Division II national championships during his tenure with the Lakers … Is well-versed in the “cover two” scheme, which requires solid tackling skills from its cornerbacks … Also possesses excellent instincts for playing the ball with 50 career pass breakups (11 INTs/39 PDs) to his credit, the sixth-highest career tally in NCAA Division II history … Saw duty in 49 career games (42 starts), posting 206 tackles (147 solo), 11 INTs for 78 yards with one TD to go with 5.5 tackles for loss (-7.0 yards), two fumble recoveries with a TD and a forced fumble … Also returned an onside kick for a 47-yard TD.
